I collaborated with 9-time Grammy award winning music producer Dave Cobb for my new catchy folk / indie pop single ‘For A Moment it Was Sweet’. The song has themes of longing and reminiscence, serving as a vessel for processing emotions and celebrating cherished memories. It was written about a relationship that Alterman had a hard time moving on from when she felt constantly haunted by the good times. “I wanted to hate the person that broke my heart, but I wrote the song to hold onto the memories that I still hold close.” The song is an emotional journey capturing fleeting joy and nostalgia.
Eloise Alterman is a female folk pop artist from Detroit, Michigan who worked in Nashville as a singer/songwriter at age 17, signed in her early 20s with Atlantic Records, & has now moved to West Hollywood as an independent artist. Eloise was recognized as American Songwriter’s #1 Indie Pop song ‘Sad Bird Sings’ in 2024.
